About Me

Raised in Colorado Springs, Scott Sufak was licensed in real estate in 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts while attending college. Though a full time REALTOR, he is also a licensed pilot, holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hawaii, is a small business owner, and has professionally advised clients on investing in securities and real estate. Scott owns both residential and commercial properties, has extensive experience in the local real estate market and serves as a director on the local REALTOR board.

As an engineer, Scott developed a meticulous attention to detail and skills in problem solving. As a small business owner, he has an understanding of negotiations and customer service. As a REALTOR, Scott understands the importance of combining these skills to serve his clients in one of the largest investments that most people make, their homes.

Scott has continued his real estate education and achieved multiple designations including Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). In addition, he has achieved the RE/MAX Hall of Fame career award.

He moved back to Colorado Springs in 2002 when his wife, Amy, separated from the US Air Force. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls and is active in his local community. He volunteers time with a variety of charitable organizations. He has completed UCLA Entrepreneurship Program, El Paso County Citizens College and Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS Leadership Program. He has also been recognized by the Colorado Springs Business Journal as a “Rising Star” award recipient and his office was named Best of the Springs by the Colorado Springs Gazette 4 years in a row.
